Synoptic Situation High pressure lying across the southern England gradually weakens as shallow low pressure systems develop to the south in the Bay of Biscay and to the west of Scotland.
Wind In the northwest: SW moderate. In the northeast: NW moderate. In the south: S or SW light or moderate.
Weather In the north it will be generally overcast with outbreaks of mainly light locally moderate rain turning to snow over the Grampians, a further area of rain/showers is pushing in across the far southwest. It will be mainly dry in the south and southeast with generally broken skies and a few bright or sunny periods.
